Update!
Nothing much to update on, though! Things are going good here. Time is still flying, we have so much to do, yet! We (I, cause Sean won't help) have so much cleaning to do. I'm constantly exhausted and all I want to do is sleep. I think part of that has to do with me working so much during Christmas. Not too much longer of that though. I've pretty much got my shopping done, just have a few more things to get. Sean and I are making a trip down to Loveland to go to the big mall down there this week. That should be fun. We don't really have too much "extra" money to spend considering we have a baby due in a month.
I think we're (for the most part, besides cleaning, organzing) ready for Baby Allen to get here. We still need to get the stroller...and pack n play. If we get a pack n' play, we have a gift card that will cover that purchase. I still need to go get my pump, but that too is covered by gift cards that I have received at showers, etc. I'm just waiting to see if it'll go on a better sale :) It's crazy to think that we will be parents in a month (or less!). What's also crazy to think about is that my original due date is only 2 weeks away. The due date that I think is more accurate. We will see. Just hope and pray that Sean will be home when "it" happens. If not, I have lots of people that would help me out.
I think Dad and Cathy will be out here if things go as planned. They're planning on coming out sometime shortly after the first of the year. Mom, Joe, Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Kenny are going to come out when I call them and say "IT'S HAPPENING!" So, all I have to say is pack your bags!! :) I don't want to hear any excuses on the lines of "I need to do laundry" or "I need to do this first".
On that note, There's a couple "guidelines" that I want all you visitors to know.
1: NO SMOKING...Obviously, not in my house. Not right outside the screen door. Not anywhere where I will smell the stinch on you. I will be really picky on this when we bring Samson home. I'm going to be a paranoid first time mom and I don't want him to be "exposed" to second hand smoke--even if it's on your clothes. With that being said...
2: THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE...I don't want my refrigerator filled with alcohol. We will, most likely, have water...soda...and juice. I want to be able to celebrate the birth of our son with your company and not having to worry about it getting loud. And, with us sponsoring all of you on base, we can't chance any of you getting OWI's. Not only will you get in trouble for this, Sean will also get punished since you're essentially his "guest". If you want to drink, do it in your hotel room when you get there at night.
3: RESPECT MY RULES! :) I just don't want to be any more stressed than I already will be. This is a very big event in Sean and I's lives, I just don't want it to be remembered as everyone drinking and it smelling like smoke. I hate hate hate hate hate...HATE the smell of smoke.
4: Home baked meals are welcomed :)
Alrighty--that's all I have for now!
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL and Merry Christmas! We will miss all of you and wish we were there. Hopefully next year!
