I really don't have too much to update on. I hope all you mommies got your Mother's Day cards from us.

I had a friend come and visit last week! We had an awesome time! I'm pretty sure I have DIA conquered now. With all of the mistakes and wrong turns and stuff, I'm pretty sure I've mad all of the mistakes getting to the Departure/Arrival areas and the parking garages...there's literally no more mistakes to make! Eh, that's the way it goes. :) She came in last thursday and left this past tuesday. I don't really ever get homesick--but, when someone comes out to visit me and they leave, I do get a little disappointed.

After we dropped her off to go home, Sean and I stopped at Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Roy's house. It was nice to be able to just sit down and talk to them. Reminded me of visiting my own grandparents.  We talked about chickens--cows--big stuffed animal dogs--asparagus hunting, you know, the usual! ;)

I met some really nice Iowans today at work! They came out to visit they mom who is in a health facility of some sort out here. They were from Des Moines and when I told them where I am from...they said "oh! Lucas County!" Why yes, you're right! Very nice group of people..and, it's not everyday that you meet someone from Iowa.

Welp, I'm supposed to be coming home next weekend for graduation. I'll probably come home. Not looking forward tot he drive though. Oh well, it happens. I guess I'll just turn the music way up and sing my way across Nebraska.
